Privacy Policy

ResaleVision ("we", "us") provides software that helps sellers photograph, identify, price, and draft marketplace listings for their own inventory. This policy describes what information we handle and how.
Information we collect
- Contact information. If you request early access or contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
- Marketplace account data. When you connect a marketplace account (such as eBay) through its official authorization flow, we access only the data needed to provide the service — such as your listings, drafts, and product catalog information. We never see or store your marketplace password.
- Item photos and product data. Photos captured at your station and the product identifications, condition notes, and prices generated from them are processed to create your listings.
How we use information
We use this information solely to operate and improve the service: identifying items, generating listing drafts, suggesting prices, and supporting your account. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data to advertise to you or anyone else.
Where data lives
ResaleVision is local-first: item photos and listing drafts are processed and stored primarily on your own computer. Data shared with marketplaces (for example, when a draft listing is created on eBay) is governed by that marketplace's own terms and privacy policy.
Third-party services
We rely on a small set of service providers to operate: marketplace APIs (such as eBay's Developer Program APIs), AI model providers for image understanding, and hosting infrastructure. Each receives only what is necessary to perform its function.
Marketplace account deletion
We participate in eBay's marketplace account deletion notification program. If an eBay user deletes their eBay account, we receive and honor that notification, deleting any associated personal data we hold.
Data retention and deletion
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@resalevision.ai, and we will honor the request within 30 days.
Security
Marketplace access tokens are stored encrypted, transport is protected with TLS, and access to production systems is limited to the operators of the service.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
